The Power of Stories

I believe that the telling of stories can be the best way to teach, to persuade, and to understand ourselves better. I also think it can be healing and that’s one of the reasons for starting this blog. A blog that creates a path for women to express themselves in a way that will hopefully empower themselves and empower the individual reading their story. After all, it’s all about ‘our life lessons.’

Our stories are a way of connecting with another person. Fundamentally, we are social beings, and we are attracted to stories. Everyone has a story, and everyone loves a great story. It gives us a reason to communicate and engage with old and new people in our lives. And, maybe even gain a new perspective of our own experience. I hope that our stories, our posts have been an inspiration to you.

Do you have a story that you have been wanting to tell? Do you want to be an inspiration to others? If so, please contact us at info@walkingthroughlifeaswomen.com. We would love to hear from you.

  1. I agree whole heartedly Linda! My daily journals are pages of the ongoing story…it’s made lots of books.

    • Thank you so much for your comment. I think it’s great that you’re into journaling…keep it up! Ever thought about turning those books into a memoir or maybe becoming a guest contributor for our site? I look forward to more comments from you.
      Linda
