Speaking Of Change

What does change mean to you? For me, it’s when I know I need to change my situation, my expectations in life. And no matter whether these changes seem good or bad, I know I will learn something new. I believe that “change is good”. I think that external change makes me more flexible, more understanding and helps to prepare me for the future. Internal change will encourage me to progress and grow as a person. Both will give me the experiences I need to keep moving forward.

Speaking of change, a lot is going on with our Walking Through Life As Women blog. We’re looking at rebranding and focusing on something more specific. As much as we would love to be able to help every single one of you out there through our stories and life lessons, we have figured out that may be impossible. We need to narrow our focus, but still be able to help others. So, it’s time to set up a timeline and goals. Please keep an eye out for our future announcements. I’ll give you a hint — it’s about Women Helping Others Advance.

And, the changes keep coming. As you may know, Lisa is in the process of looking for a new place that she can call home. Her landlord is selling the condo she lives in. So, a big change is coming in her near future. Moving is never easy but hopefully, it will be a smooth transition and she’ll find the perfect place. The universe always seems to give you what you need when you need it. Btw, if any of you know of a 2 bedroom/2 bath rental in the 92128 or surrounding area, please send Lisa a note at lisa@walkingthroughlifeaswomen.com

I truly look at change as a good thing. It makes me better, and I have learned along the way how to turn a challenging situation (whatever it may be) into an advantage. You know it’s about turning “lemons into lemonade”, and seeing change as a new adventure. Maybe ask yourself, “How can I look at this challenge in a positive way?”

“I cannot say whether things will get better if we change. What I can say is they must change if they are to get better.” — Lichtenberg
