It takes guts to do something you’ve never done before. Knowing that once you write something online and it’ll be out there forever can make you question every word, every sentence, and every post. What if people don’t like your self-expressed self? For this post, we thought we would tell you some personal details about us that not everyone knows. Our intention is to do this in a light-hearted way, and hopefully, you’ll get to know us a little more. There’s no turning back now…
I can roll my tongue so that it looks like a wave…just a funny little talent of mine.
I own a Michael Bolton CD. What can I say…I was young, didn’t know any better, and I thought he was cute.
I am not a fan of water. I almost drowned when I was young while attending a swim class in school. I’ll go in, but the deep end is not for me.
It’s rare for me to drink too much alcohol. I don’t like the feeling of not being in control. But I’ve been told I’m a happy drunk.
I’m terrible with names but good at recognizing faces. I really need to work on that considering I work a lot with the public.
One of my favorite movies of all time is “Bridges of Madison County.” I could really relate to the star of the film. A wife and mother who has her own dreams.
I really have no regrets. I probably should have made a few different decisions along the way, but I believe your choices in life are what make you who you are, and everything happens for a reason.
I am the only red-head in my family, and I have always loved being a ginger. I was told I got my red hair from my great-grandfather on my dad’s side. The only freckles I have are the ones I accumulated from being in the sun over the years.
I am always cold (not hearted), just temperature wise, I hate being cold. Twelve months out of the year, you will find a space heater on under my desk at work. I carry an extra jacket, blankets, socks, scarf, leg warmers, and gloves in my car. You can never be over prepared.
I am shy. If you know me, you might think otherwise because once we are friends, I never shut up. If I am in a new setting or around people I don’t know, I feel like I have nothing interesting to say. However, if you put me in charge of something watch out. I have no problem doing, talking, asking, or telling people what to do.
My only regret was not going to a “real college.” I didn’t know what I wanted to do when I was younger. In fact, I am still working that out. When the daughter of a woman I was working for asked me if I wanted to attend dental assisting school with her, I looked into it and decided to go. I admit a trade school is a wonderful option for many and has served me well. I only wish I had the experience of a university, dorms, the campus life and making crazy college friends.
I have been fired from several jobs. I’ll write about this in a later post.
My favorite artist was Prince.
I owned a lowrider (and yes it had hydraulics).
We both dreamed of being writers.
We both believe this blog has the potential to be a huge success.
#nopatience – Did you read our blog post on this?
We each have two interracial daughters.
We both love to tend to our cactus gardens.
Now, that wasn’t so hard. We could probably add more to the list, but that should do it for now. Now, tell us something about yourself.
As always, thank you for taking the time to read our blog. We appreciate your time and support.
