Have you ever had that feeling deep down inside that you are on this earth to make a difference, to impact someone’s life, and to live your life to the fullest potential and share your talents with others? I have and I know I’m not alone. I’ve had these feelings/thoughts for a long time. Even though I have an amazing life with an amazing family, I feel like there is more that I can and should be doing. I need to be making the most of my time while I’m here. For me, it comes down to — how do I know if I’m destined for something bigger and what do I want to be remembered for?
I guess I have a little bit of an entrepreneur inside me. After all, I’m a founder on this blog site, along with starting our women’s group, Women Helping Others Advance. This group revolves around empowering other women. I have a lot of compassion for the people around me and the community. I love to learn. If I don’t know something, I will find a way to figure it out. Maybe that comes from a sense of wonderment, which I consider to be a positive trait. I will take risks when needed. Sometimes I need to kick myself to get going, but I’ll get it done. I don’t mind learning from my mistakes, just as long as I don’t repeat those mistakes. I try to remember that being a work in progress is a good thing. And, I don’t want to be satisfied with just being good enough.
I think most of us yearn for something bigger and better in our lives. It’s part of being human. Based on the traits I mentioned above, I think there’s a good chance I’ll have great things to look forward to in my future, just as long as I step into my power so that I can become unstoppable. Here’s to looking at my glass being half full!
