Making A Difference

Am I making a difference? Am I doing something important? I ask myself these questions because I’m at the point in my life where I want to do something that helps people and makes the world a better place.

It’s easy to feel like I’m just one person, and how can one person make a difference when the world has so many problems, and they seem impossible to solve. I think one person can make a difference, but you might have to come up with something that’s a little different. Something that will make another person feel you have empowered them and changed their life. What that might be for you, I don’t know. For me, it’s putting together a platform for women to share their stories, to share their life lessons. I’ve mentioned this in previous posts…making a difference in just one person’s life will make it all worthwhile. And you will feel empowered in the process. I feel empowered.

There are so many ways you can make a difference in this world and you don’t have to start big, start with something small. You can help out at local charities, volunteer, become an activist, raise money for different organizations, promote education, be part of a neighborhood watch, and the list goes on. All of these examples are all about empowerment.

I hope that through this blog we are making a difference, that through our stories we have touched you in a way that makes you feel empowered.
