“If I could snap my fingers and be anywhere in the world, I would travel to __________ and bring __________ with me.”
So, how would you fill in the blanks? Take some time and really think about it. Would you stay nearby or would you travel to somewhere across the world? And, what or who would you bring with you? I’ve been thinking a lot about traveling lately, especially with everything that has been going on in the last couple of years. I would say a little escapism is in order. I want to be almost anywhere but here. I’ve even spoken with friends about pooling all our money and buying an island to escape to until our country, our world gets its act together. I know it’s not possible, but it’s fun to think about. I’m up for the adventure.
My husband and I have planned a trip to go on a river cruise to France in June. Actually, this trip has been planned for a long while and had to be postponed a few times, but it looks like we may actually go this time (cross your fingers). I love traveling in Europe. The sites, food, wine, culture, maybe getting lost for a while ;), and of course, the people make the long trip over there worthwhile. I can’t wait! One of my goals in life is to make friends all over the world and to go back and visit them as often as possible.
Can you guess what my fill-ins would be in the above statement? I’m sure you already figured it out. Here you go — “If I could snap my fingers and be anywhere in the world, I would travel to Europe and bring my hubby, family, and friends with me.”
I would love to hear your answers. Maybe you’ll give me some new destinations for travel. You can comment below.
