Why do we try so hard to avoid failure? Failure shows us that we’ve had the courage to try something. I think that if you avoid failure, you avoid taking action in your life. I try to accept that failure is a part of the experience and the journey. I try to learn from it, grow from it, and then move forward.
Fear of failure can prevent people from following their dreams or trying something new. Statistics actually show that you can learn more from your failures than your successes. I sometimes fear that our blog site won’t be a success but I keep moving forward. There are goals that I still want to accomplish for this blog, so I will keep forging ahead. So far, all the work has been worth it and I’ve learned so much along the way. And for me, it’s all about the process. It’s inevitable that things will go wrong but that shouldn’t stop me (and you) from finding the courage to keep going. After all, there’s nothing like the feeling of being successful. Success in your career, love, family, friends, and your passion for life.
I see failure as an opportunity. It’s a chance to reevaluate and come back stronger than ever. It never feels good when you fail at something. But isn’t it better to have tried than to have not tried at all?
“I can accept failure, everyone fails at something. But I can’t accept not trying.” — Michael Jordan
