Sometimes you need to stop, step back, and enjoy the little things life has to offer. Let the good feelings take up residency in your entire body and see what that does for the heart, mind and soul. I have listed some things that put a smile on my face, and I would love to hear what puts a smile on yours.
Hearing your children say they are thankful for the way you raised them.
A cool breeze brushing across your body.
The warm sun on your face.
The smell of fresh linen.
Watching hummingbirds drink the nectar you provide for them.
Finding a piece of nature shaped like a heart in an unlikely location.
Stopping at a light on your motorcycle, and having someone give you the thumbs up.
Offering assistance to a person in physical or emotional pain and seeing their eye’s light up.
Unexpectedly receiving a thank you note in the mail.
An easy friendship.
A passionate kiss.
A good book.
A happy ending.
An afternoon nap.
A belly laugh.
A good cup of coffee or tea.
A starry night sky.
These are just a few things that make me stop and smile. These are just a few things that remind me that life is not about rushing around, working all hours of the day and night. These are just a few things that feed my soul and makes my heart sing. I hope this list will remind you of some little things that will bring joy to your life.
As always, thank you for taking the time to read our blog. We appreciate your time and support.
