Words that have meaning
do not come easy
A word is
just the tip of the iceberg
of experience
Year of
Loving
Losing
Living..
Years culled with precious time
that lead to the understanding
that give words meaning
The understanding
that only comes
with the experience
paid with a lifetime
Meaning does not
come easy to the word
and word does not come easy
to the meaning
Only after understanding
can meaning find word
and word find meaning
So I sit here
thinking of what
to write for you
and 4 words come to mind..
Such simple words,
but complex and rich
in history
with a meaning
that only we
know the depth to
